Looking for more insulation for sub-zero gravel rides, we tried using Alpha® prototypes as a second layer over a Prosecco base layer and discovered one of the best combinations for riding in the cold. We worked on the details and created this second layer for cold rides. The half-zip avoids creating bulk in the lower torso, while the slightly off-center placement reduces the bulk of multiple zippers in the neck area. We maintained a close-to-body fit, so you can choose whether to tuck it into your tights or leave it out, as we do.
