We've combined our maximum-supportive seat pad, minimal-bulk insulation, and targeted protection to create the Winter Bib Tights, a regular-fit design that's perfect for the harshest weather conditions.
For our first winter tights specifically designed for maximum protection, we developed the two-layer IMPACTOR construction to protect the hips. Featuring our cut-resistant dyneRope fabric and removable impactPads, now more flexible and breathable, these tights set a new standard for tackling the harshest winter conditions: built-in abrasion resistance, impact protection, and friction-free comfort.
FEATURED FABRICS
OSMOS Heavy, the main fabric of the tights, guarantees maximum insulation thanks to the brushed side next to the skin. The blasenSchutz front panel is made of two layers of OSMOS Light twinDeck and SPHERE Ultra Hole, our stretch softshell fabric with a membrane and micro-perforations that eliminate excess heat, providing additional protection from cold winds and road spray.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
For the bibs and leg panels, we've used rollBar technology and a butterfly panel to ensure stability. Each panel is enhanced with louvreTec construction, with specific darts on the outer thighs, to provide a compressive, customized fit.
ENGINEERING
zeroWaist: A waistband with a raw-cut, reinforced taped edge that prevents chafing between the fabric and the skin. Greater comfort with less pressure.
superFlat X-FRAME: a single portion of elastic folded over on itself, which forms a support X-structure, with the aim of limiting vertical elasticity in the rear part.
waterBarrier: Our outermost Geoprene layer applied to the lower leg to protect it from water and adhere to shoe covers.
impactPad: new flexible and removable thermoplastic polyurethane padding, featuring a perforated surface to increase breathability and freedom of movement.
INSERT
MILLE GTO c2 Insert seat pad: created with our proven goldenGate technology, free from side seams and featuring the necessary recessed seams for friction-free comfort. For the front, we used the new superlight sunDeck, successor to the iconic kukuPenthouse: a super-soft, foam-free fabric that's pre-shaped to support the human body and ensure maximum ventilation. Furthermore, this seat pad features the twin21 System, consisting of three different layers:
microShock: The base of the pad is made of an ultra-light foam with a thickness of 11 millimeters and a highly shock-absorbing composition.
filterFoam: Between the microShock layer and the 3D waffle, we've inserted a 10mm-thick low-density matrix foam to completely absorb microvibrations. The open-cell structure wicks away excess sweat.
3D waffle: in contact with the skin we have a patented, perforated, three-layer foam, which increases breathability and reduces excess weight.
