ASSOS's lightest and most breathable bib shorts yet. Designed specifically for high-octane racing and training indoors and out, the 120-gram SUPERLÉGER bib shorts are part of the S9 platform and are constructed from superlight fabrics for unparalleled stability and maximum breathability.

Not only have we reduced weight, but we've also increased comfort and support during hot race days and high-speed indoor training sessions. We've reduced the number of seams and replaced the current fabrics with super-light, more breathable materials to further reduce chafing and keep leg muscles cool for longer.

FEATURED FABRICS
Based on the S9 shorts, the fully enveloping butterfly-shaped main panel is made from our Breezer Tex, an ultralight orthogonal fabric that promotes breathability and ensures an ultra-soft feel on the legs. For the remaining front and back panels, which anchor the chamois and are in direct contact with the saddle, we used our ultra-soft, warp-knit OSSIDIA fabric, which guarantees greater abrasion resistance and a compressive fit. The bibs are also made from a lighter, open elastic, which sheds additional grams and absorbs less sweat.

CONSTRUCTION/FIT
Built on the S9 raceFit platform, these shorts feature A-Lock Engineering for maximum stability and a secure fit while riding. This is complemented by rollBar bibs, a modified ergoBox system, and a unique butterfly panel that, during intense efforts, ensure friction-free comfort and stability as your body weight shifts on the saddle.

ENGINEERING
zeroWaist: A waistband with a raw-cut, reinforced taped edge that prevents chafing between the fabric and the skin. Greater comfort with less pressure.

UltraLight Leg Grippers anti-slip system: very thin silicone application, which keeps the shorts in place without applying excessive pressure.

RS SUPERLÉGER Insert: the evolution of the EQUIPE RS seat pad, optimised to further reduce sweat and shave grams.

superAir microShock foam: ultra-light open-cell foam, capable of absorbing impacts and quickly returning to its original thickness, following the shifting of body weight every time you change position in the saddle.

3D waffle: Patented three-layer perforated foam, which increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.
