Made from a two-layer bonded softshell fabric, the Speerhaube is a protective layer designed to be worn over socks for additional thermal insulation inside the shoe.

Developed from the iconic fuguSpeer, the Speerhaube sock covers are another uniquely designed ASSOS product, designed to provide a lightweight layer of protection for the forefoot and toes. Using a perforated version of our superlight softshell fabric, bonded to two layers, we've found the perfect balance between bulk-free protection and breathability.

FEATURED FABRICS
We developed a perforated version of our SPHERE Ultra fabric specifically for the Speerhaube: the micro-perforations of our bilaminate softshell fabric with a hydrophilic elastic membrane serve to eliminate excess heat from the foot, while still providing light protection from wind and road spray.

CONSTRUCTION/FIT
A garment with a minimal bulk weighing just nine grams, the Sock Cover design is that of a toe cap, covering only the forefoot and toes.
