The Premio EVO Bibshort was designed to offer maximum comfort over long distances and become your all-time favorite shorts. Yes, that's a big claim, but a lot of research and development went into these shorts. The seat pad is the foundation of the Premio line's exceptional comfort. The top-of-the-line Progetto X2 Air Seamless padding is actually made of two distinct components: the Skin Care Layer, soft and stretchy next to the skin, designed exclusively to eliminate any chafing, and, beneath that, the Cushioning Layer, which includes two separate foam inserts with different densities and perforated, breathable gel inserts under the sit bones and perineum. Comfort is also ensured by the shorts' construction, with just three inserts and fewer seams. We've created a new fabric that adapts to the needs of different parts of the body. The lower leg features a raw-cut end and rubberized yarns that ensure a flat grip to keep the leg in place. The fabric becomes lighter on the thigh, while the 4-way stretch provides the right amount of muscle support. In the pelvic area, compression and support are increased to keep the pad and everything else in place. The fabric is thicker at the back to prevent any see-through. The braces are also made of this high-quality fabric. The perforated back allows for thermoregulation, while the edge is glued, rather than stitched, for reduced thickness. The elastic fabric braces are soft and stretchy for perfect support and freedom of movement. The braces are also articulated to distribute the load over the shoulders for greater comfort. The braces narrow where they join the shorts, offering greater breathability and eliminating unnecessary fabric on the chest. The Premio EVO Bibshort is finished with a small logo also present on the rest of the Premio EVO kit, for a sleek and modern look.
