EPT: Rust protection redefined.
KMC's non-toxic and environmentally friendly EcoProTeQ EPT technology protects chains from corrosion (the first signs of rust only appear after 650 hours of salt spray testing) for twice as long as conventional rust protection, setting new standards. Each component of each chain link is treated separately with EPT. This provides a 100% coating that minimizes the attack of water, salt, and air humidity.
Another feature of EPT: the very smooth surface gives the chains excellent sliding properties. Dirt accumulation is minimized over time, significantly reducing chain maintenance.
