KMC's non-toxic and environmentally friendly EcoProTeQ EPT technology protects chains from corrosion (only after 650 hours of salt spray testing does the first traces of rust develop) for double the protection against conventional rust and thus sets new standards. Each component of each link in the chain is treated separately with EPT. This means a 100% coating that quenches the least possible attack from water, salt and air humidity.
Another feature of the EPT: the very smooth surface gives the chains excellent sliding qualities. Dirt accumulation is minimized in the long term, which means that chain maintenance is significantly eased.
