PF30 for Shimano Road

The PF30 standard is widely used. To make it compatible with Shimano and other cranks with 24mm diameter thru-axles, as well as improve the system, select this bottom bracket.

The package comes with two cups and CeramicSpeed ​​bearings installed. There are two options. Both the standard and coated bearings feature super-smooth CeramicSpeed ​​balls and hardened steel races. CeramicSpeed ​​coated bearings have an additional feature: a 3-micron thick metal layer on the races. This addition makes racing smoother and harder, reducing drag and increasing durability.

Technical data

The cups have extended sleeves and join with a central section, reducing the likelihood of creaking and increasing the reliability of the system.

Standard CeramicSpeed ​​bearings have only 0.3-0.04 watts of frictional resistance per set, an average 75% reduction in drag compared to stock bottom brackets. This is the result of a great design, including hardened steel races and CeramicSpeed ​​Balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. They also last longer.

CeramicSpeed ​​coated bearings last even longer and feature even lower resistance. Life is increased by 60% and drag is decreased by 50% compared to our standard CeramicSpeed ​​bearings.

All Round Grease is installed in the bearings. It can be replaced with a lower-strength race-day grease or a longer-lasting extended-life grease, which adds some resistance but stays put when riding in rough conditions.
