Alpinist CL II

With the new Alpinist CL II wheels, you'll feel your bike 'come alive', thanks to the lightweight clincher rims and tubeless system. Similar strength to MTB rims and a construction that allows you to take advantage of the reduced rim and spoke mass.

The Alpinist CL II uses the same rim as the Alpinist CLX II. A slight increase in power input on the pedals results in immediate acceleration, you'll be able to trace a perfect line in corners, and at the same time, they exceed the strength standards of any certification institution by almost double. A pair of tubeless wheels weighing 1375 grams and with a quality built for pressures suitable for all types of races.

The components of the Alpinist CL II were chosen for reliability and availability, and include DT Swiss 350 hubs with Star Ratchet system, easy to maintain, 24 DT Swiss CompRace straight-pull spokes, and Pro Lock alloy nipples.

The reduced rolling resistance of the tubeless system is undeniable, as are the advantages in terms of handling and improved puncture protection. For development, we undertook an intensive engineering and testing program. The result is a hooked rim that allows pressures up to 110psi and easy tire installation.
