The bold new look and feel of the X-Sync 2 Eagle chainring is a direct result of the SRAM Eagle drivetrain design, which involved studying the performance and wear characteristics of thousands of X-Sync chainrings. SRAM subjected every chainring, with different gear sizes, to every imaginable type of environmental and mechanical torture, misuse, and negligent maintenance, both in the lab and out in the wild, to maximize the performance of the Eagle drivetrain in all weather conditions.
The new tooth profile has been designed to work in perfect sync with the new Eagle chain to increase chain retention and overall pedaling efficiency, managing to reduce friction, annoying noise and wear.
