With its smooth-riding composite frame, lightweight battery, and new SyncDrive Move Plus integrated rear motor, the Defy Advanced E+ is the ideal choice for performance-oriented road cyclists who want to tackle steep hills, maintain higher speeds, and experience road riding without limitations.

Uninterrupted power
The SyncDrive Move Plus motor is integrated into the rear hub and delivers 30 Nm of power (equivalent to 75 Nm with a mid-drive motor) directly to the rear wheel, allowing for speeds of up to 25 km/h in Europe (subject to country regulations). Weighing just 1.7 kg, it is specifically tuned for the pedaling pace of high-performance road riding, with minimal energy loss and increased torque at high speeds.
System integration
The EnergyPak 400 battery system, integrated into the downtube, weighs just 2.3 kg and is specifically designed for the needs of e-bikes. A RideControl Go button mounted on the top tube allows you to quickly and easily turn the e-bike on or off and switch between power modes. Smart Assist technology uses three sensors to precisely measure the power applied to the pedals and provide just the right amount of support for a smooth and natural riding experience.
Road performance
A lightweight composite frame and high-performance components—including a D-Fuse seatpost and handlebars for increased compliance, all-road ready 38mm tubeless wheels, and a wireless electronic shifting groupset—contribute to a smooth, efficient ride quality that reflects the award-winning performance of the Defy endurance bike range.
