KMC's non-toxic and environmentally friendly EcoProTeQ EPT technology protects chains from corrosion (the first signs of rust only develop after 650 hours of salt spray testing) for twice the amount of conventional rust protection, setting new standards. Each component of each link in the chain is treated separately with EPT. This means a 100% coating that offers the least possible attack from water, salt and air humidity.
Another feature of the EPT: the very smooth surface gives the chains excellent sliding qualities. Dirt accumulation is minimized in the long term, which means that chain maintenance is significantly eased.
