Downhill strength and cross-country lightness: these are the key features of the new Traverse SL 35 carbon fiber handlebar. Decades of experience with this material have allowed us to create a product with an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Handlebars have become increasingly wider in recent years, which creates numerous challenges, for example, increased leverage stress at the stem. The Traverse SL handlebar features a 35mm diameter clamp, increasing strength in this area and dissipating the load over a larger surface area. A more secure connection and a more durable handlebar—not bad. Thanks to our knowledge of carbon layup, we were also able to program in a certain amount of flex for a more comfortable ride.
