The rim is designed with a NACA-inspired full carbon profile, 45mm deep and 27mm wide. It features a complex layup that optimizes the stiffness-to-weight ratio. The outer layer features our signature UD² finish.
The rim is not drilled, so it does not require the use of rim tape to become airtight: a guarantee for problem-free tubeless use.

The 20 elliptical carbon fiber spokes and tall, thin carbon hub flanges offer a proven aerodynamic advantage.

The spokes are made of unidirectional carbon fiber, so they don't stretch. The spokes run seamlessly from one edge of the rim to the other, through the hubs (R2R technology), creating a single spoke instead of two. This increases the wheel's stiffness and eliminates the need to mechanically attach the spokes to the hub.

Inside the carbon hub shells, the axles are paired with self-adjusting sealed cartridge bearings for perfect preload. At the rear, the ID360 freewheel system ensures instant engagement (40 points of engagement = 9°) and low friction. The hubs are compatible with thru-axles (12x100 front and 12x142 rear) and are designed for Center Lock brake rotors.

These wheels are designed, engineered and patented by Mavic in Annecy, France, and are 100% handcrafted in France.
