The Muc-Off Tubeless Tag Holder offers a discreet way to install a tracker inside your tubeless bicycle rear tyre in conjunction with our Tubeless Valves, meaning you can track your bike using the ‘Find My iPhone’ app if it’s stolen.

Your tracker will be housed in a protective, 3-part silicone and rubber tubeless valve mount and supplied with our range of tubeless valve bases, so you can ensure a sealed fit against the rim when installing it inside your tubeless tyre.

Please Note: AirTag tracker and brand new Tubeless Valves not included with the holder, sold separately. Only compatible with our brand new Tubeless Valves.

HOW TO USE

Assembling a tracker to the Tubeless Tag Holder:

1. Remove the Tubeless Tag Holder from its packaging, then carefully pull out the pink silicone top cap from the black rubber body, and then the inner cap.
   2. Ensure that your tracker is set up and connected to your iPhone app.
   3. Take your Tubeless valve and remove the valve cap, locking ring and o-ring from the valve stem, then feed the Tubeless valve into the rubber hexagonal housing of the black stem holder. Pull the valve from the valve body side until the valve base sits against the inner base of the holder. (Keep the o-ring and locking ring in a safe place until you mount them to the rim). 
   4. Place the inner cap into the hexagonal opening to close off the tracker compartment.
   5. Insert the tracker into the top of the cap with the battery cover facing down towards the base of the stem holder. It’s best to push the tracker into place using both thumbs, so the side walls of the black rubber body overlap the sides of the tracker.
   6. Then carefully mount the silicone top cover over the assembled tracker and storage compartment, by flipping it inside out and slowly stretching the cover until the whole compartment is covered. 
   7. Finally, Select the correct rubber grommet for your rim type and slide it onto the valve stem until the base sits against the underside of the tracker holder.

Mounting to the wheel:

1. If using with an existing Tubeless setup, deflate your Tubeless tyre, break the tyre bead and remove your Tubeless valve. 
   2. Clean the valve hole area inside your rim with a clean Microfibre cloth to remove any excess sealant before installing the Tubeless Tag Holder. (You can use our Glue & Sealant Remover for any stubborn sealant that needs to be cleaned away).
   3. Take your assembled Tubeless Tag Holder with the valve fitted and push the valve stem into the rim hole until it’s fully passed through. Then place the rubber o-ring onto the valve stem and slide it fully down until it meets the rim.
   4. Screw the locking ring onto the valve stem and tighten it down over the o-ring. This sandwiches the o-ring between the locking ring and the rim. Push down on the top of the Tubeless Tag Holder inside the rim whilst tightening the locking ring and tighten until the ring is hand tight and the rubber o-ring compresses. This way you know you’ve created a good airtight seal. (TIP – do not overtighten, this can cause leaks. Finish by screwing on your preferred valve cap).
   5. Re-fit your tyre, starting from the tracker stem, mount your tyre and make sure the bead is pushed over the base of the tracker stem. 
   6. Use the valve core removal tool (built into the spare alloy cap) to remove the valve core and fill with No Puncture Hassle tubeless tyre sealant and inflate to your tyre manufacturer’s recommended PSI pressure.  
   7. All done, go ride! 

1. If using the Tubeless Tag Holder with a brand new Tubeless setup and tyre, we recommend inflating and beading the tyre to the rim using your Tubeless valve without the Tubeless Tag Holder fitted first. This is because the Tubeless Tag Holder might restrict the increased amount of airflow needed for initial Tubeless setup. Then remove the valve and mount it to the Tubeless Tag Holder using the assembly process and steps described above.

NB: Periodically remove the tracker from the holder and wipe off any excess Tubeless sealant when replacing or topping up your sealant. 

The battery inside your tracker may need to be replaced every 6 months to 1 year.
