Tubeless Rim Tape

Muc-Off Tubeless Rim Tape is made from our proprietary performance material with a pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide just the right amount of stretch whilst maintaining the durability and strength needed to create a lasting airtight seal. Its semi-transparent material makes locating the valve hole easy. Supplied with 4 sealing patches. Available in a 10m roll in 6 widths to suit most Road, CX, Gravel, MTB and Plus-sized rims.

HOW TO USE
1. First, clean your rim using our Glue & Sealant Remover to remove any unwanted residue left from a previous setup.
2. Select the correct size of rim tape to match your wheel’s rim width (check our guide above)
3. Locate your valve hole.
4. Peel off a small amount of your Rim Tape and start to apply and press down on the opposite side to the valve hole.
5. With your thumb holding the tape down, gently peel off the tape and continue to press down to ensure a firm grip with the rim.
6. Rotate the wheel whilst you continue to apply the tape.
7. Once you have gone all the way around the rim, continue to create an overlap of around 10-15cm
8. Cut the tape at a 45-degree angle and press the edge down firmly.
9. Check for any air bubbles or gaps and if you find any, press down firmly.
10. Apply the finishing patch over the edge of the tape to ensure a perfect seal.
11. Push the valve through the rim hole and secure it with the O-ring and lock ring.
12. Refit your tyre and inflate – now you’re ready to add your sealant!
