Why choose this tire
Versatile competition and trail tire, safe in corners and comfortable.
Excellent grip and available with different technologies.
Smooth-rolling tire that adapts to any terrain thanks to its special tread.

The rolling properties of a tire's rubber compound are primarily determined by three interacting factors: stiction (grip), rolling resistance, and mileage (durability). The dilemma: improving one of these factors can have a detrimental effect on at least one of the others. A tire with maximum grip wears out faster and rolls more slowly. If you then roll a faster, more durable tire, its grip, in turn, decreases.

With our Black Chili compound , a tread compound consistently based on the latest polymer knowledge and raw material research, we've provided the cycling industry with a durable solution. Depending on the tire's application, we tailor the compound formulation to the specific discipline—for road or mountain biking, time trials or downhill.

How does it work? For Black Chili, we refine special synthetic rubbers with proven natural rubber to create high-performance tread compounds. We then add soot particles to these compounds, which in turn are optimized for shape and surface properties.

TR, Our carcass construction is robust and resistant to damage and foreign object penetration. The result: versatility, low weight, and an attractive design. Furthermore, tires made with this technology can also be used tubeless or with an inner tube.

Suitable for E-Bikes
For our e-bike tires, we draw on over 100 years of experience with moped and motorcycle tires. All our city/trekking tires are rated for a standard speed of at least 25 km/h. Tires marked e50 are also certified for S-Pedelecs. Thanks to their high-quality construction, they offer high puncture protection and low rolling resistance, protecting against premature wear caused by the additional driving force.
