The design goal for the Recon 1.0 was simple: deliver comfort and performance at a great price. Easier said than done, but with the Recon 1.0, we created a shoe that's efficient, durable, and comfortable thanks to Body Geometry construction. The Recon 2.0's nylon outsole features a TPU (injection-molded thermoplastic polyurethane) toe cap for a degree of flex we call STRIDE toe-flex for a natural-feeling ride while maintaining a Stiffness Index of 6.0. Efficient while pedaling and comfortable off the bike.
