Rapide CLX II Rear Wheel

Since 2020, the Roval Rapide CLX wheelset has been a World Tour winner, and now we've made it even faster. The new Rapide CLX II combines the aerodynamics of a TT wheelset with the lightweight, shallower rims of a climbing wheelset. Add the efficiency and handling of tubeless, and you've got maximum speed for racing of all types.

We've developed separate profiles for the front and rear of the Rapide CLX II. This reduces drag compared to most 65mm wheelset designs, and in very windy conditions, stability increases by a full 25% compared to 50mm rims.

The Rapide CLX II's toothed design (which allows for up to 110 psi of pressure if that's what you want) ensures perfect tire retention and easy installation. All this in a lightweight wheelset that nearly doubles current strength standards.

The AeroFlange hubs are optimized for aerodynamics. The bearings are SINC Ceramic, the internals are DT Swiss EXP.
