Foot-Out, Flat-Out, or 2FO. The new 2FO Flat 2.0 is designed to get you to the end of your run in complete confidence. The 2FO uses our SlipNot™ 2.0 rubber to increase grip on the pedals – this is influenced by the hardness and grip factor of the rubber, as well as the thickness and density of the midsole.
A pressure mapping study suggested using softer foam for the front of the sole and firmer foam for the rear. This will ensure good grip on the pedals and prevent the feeling of standing on marshmallows, which can lead to cramps on long descents. Along with the new sole, we've implemented a new forefoot protector.
- Ergonomically designed Body Geometry outsole and footbed are scientifically tested to maximize power transfer, increase efficiency, and reduce the risk of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment.
- The SlipNot™ 2.0 outsole compound is soft, provides grip and optimizes the connection between shoe and pedal.
