There are days when whether or not to head out for a ride is a decision based on the weather. Other times, this isn't an option. Races start in any conditions, and it's essential to be prepared to face the elements. The Fiandre Pro Jacket was designed for these occasions, to compete when the weather isn't forgiving. We designed and developed it, testing it over years of Northern Classics and World Tour races of all kinds with our professional athletes. In its latest version, the Fiandre Pro is a concentration of technology. Made entirely of Polartec NeoShel, we've minimized seams and used a single panel of fabric for the front and back. No shoulder seams and a close-fitting cut allow you to maintain your power. We were able to achieve this thanks to the surprising elasticity of the NeoShel membrane. The (few) seams are heat-sealed, the collar is double-lined, and the cuffs are made of extra-stretch waterproof fabric. The tail is longer and has two silicone bands to keep it perfectly in place and protect you from rear wheel spray, while the front zipper is YKK VisIon, waterproof and easy to open. There are three micro-perforated pockets on the back to prevent water accumulation, and we've added reflective details. The result is a lightweight, aerodynamic, and incredibly stretchy garment. The Polartec membrane is water-repellent and breathable: the result is that racing effort generates heat, sweat escapes while rain stays out.
