The design, which is comfortable even when not in the saddle, features blue/yellow/red contact points to prevent the use of the part of the cleat that engages the pedal.

RED Cleat: Fixed plate transmits energy directly and more efficiently.

YELLOW Cleat: Rotating plate feet can move laterally with a 6 degree play.

BLUE Cleat: Hinge point on the front feet can move laterally with 2 degrees of play.
