The Tarmac Comp has an SL7 frame, and is equipped with Shimano’s new 105 Di2 12-speed electronic groupset – a lightweight all-rounder with wireless shifting at a reasonable price.

Aerodynamics is everything
Continuing our goal of developing the ultimate road racing bike, we utilized our Rider-First Engineered™ technology to ensure the new Tarmac is balanced and responsive across every frame size. Based on feedback from our professional road racing teams—SD Workx, Soudal Quick-Step, Total Energies, and Bora-hansgrohe—and their thousands of kilometers of riding, we made changes to the Tarmac. This rebalances the ride quality between the front and rear end, making even the longest days in the saddle more comfortable, without compromising the Tarmac's legendary handling and responsiveness.
In creating the Tarmac, we crafted a clean and integrated cockpit. Cable routing is available for any setup—including mechanical shifting, a traditional stem, round handlebars, and more. At the same time, we maintained the aerodynamic characteristics.
